Vic Tokai developed the video game Kid Kool and the Search for the Seven Magic Herbs, which was first made available for the Nintendo Entertainment System in the year 1988. The main character of the game is modeled after Kenji Sagara, a well-known Japanese child actor who rose to fame in the 1980s for his portrayal of baseball star Masayuki Kakefu. Kenji Sagara was a fan favorite.
