G.I. Joe: A True American Hero is a 1991 run and shoot game for the Nintendo Entertainment System produced by Taxan and based on the same-named toyline. Ken Lobb produced the game, which was developed by the same Japanese company that subsequently became KID. G.I. Joe: The Atlantis Factor, a sequel produced by the same team, was released the following year, but was published by Capcom when Taxan went out of business.
