1942

1942 is a vertically scrolling shooter based on Capcom’s arcade game. Micronics developed the NES conversion, and Capcom U.S.A. released it in North America in November 1986. Players control the P-38 fighter Super Ace through a sequence of Pacific-themed air battles. The North American retail release was sold as a gray NES cartridge with a manual and cardboard box. Early cartridge and packaging details include five-screw and hangtab examples, which Super Minty tracks separately. This standard page covers the broader retail release and should not be used to price a specific early print without confirming the cartridge shell and box construction.
