1942 – 5-Screw

This listing covers the five-screw cartridge print of Capcom’s 1942 for the NES. It contains the same Micronics-developed shooter released in North America in 1986, but uses the earlier cartridge shell secured with five rear screws. Collectors should confirm the screw count from the back of the cartridge and inspect the box and manual independently. A five-screw cartridge can be paired with different surviving packaging components, so the presence of one early feature does not prove every component belongs to the same production configuration.
