Mendel Palace is a puzzle video game released by Game Freak in 1989. Namco published it in Japan, while Hudson Soft published it in North America. Satoshi Tajiri's and Game Freak's debut game is Mendel Palace. This success prompted him to develop the Pokémon franchise.
